The class also introduces sound design, including textures, impacts, and effects that add dramatic energy and support the visuals. Each student will bring a personal laptop to install the DAW software, and a MIDI keyboard will be provided for in class use. CLASS #03
From Inspiration to Finished Song
Songwriting Classes
Learn how successful songs are built from the inside out by analyzing the writing techniques of some of the most influential artists of our time, including Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes, The Weeknd, and Coldplay. This course takes you beyond surface-level listening and into the creative decisions that make songs resonate emotionally and commercially.

Through guided listening, real-world examples, and hands-on writing exercises, we’ll break down melody, lyric choices, rhyme schemes, song structure, harmonic movement, and emotional storytelling. You’ll explore what makes a verse feel intimate and grounded, why pre-choruses create lift and anticipation, how choruses hook listeners instantly, and how subtle melodic and harmonic choices elevate a song from good to unforgettable.
Designed to be both practical and inspiring, this course is musician-focused and works whether you write on piano, guitar, or in a DAW. By the end of the course, you won’t just understand why popular songs work; you’ll apply these techniques to create, write, refine, and finish stronger songs with clarity, intention, and authenticity.

CLASS #04
Unlock the Language of Music
Music Theory Classes
Music Theory is your backstage pass to understanding how music actually works—no powdered wigs or dusty textbooks required.

This course is designed for curious musicians, songwriters, producers, and music lovers who want to go deeper than just “playing the notes.” We’ll break down the building blocks of music in a way that’s clear, practical, and actually fun. You’ll explore how harmony works, tale the mystery out of chord progressions, and how melodies weave through harmony to tell a musical story.

No matter what instrument you play (or if your main instrument is a laptop), this course focuses on making real music, not just memorizing rules. By the end of the course, music won’t feel like a mystery language anymore.
